(American 1875-1899), Fashion shelf clock, last quarter 19th century, having a parcel gilt walnut case, curved cornice with three finials, supported by turned columns, the glass door with "Fashion" in gilt lettering, eight day movement, dial with Roman numerals and patent date of December 18. 1875 and inset seconds dial with patent date of April 16, 1878, and date aperture with Arabic numerals, perpetual day and month rolls, and patent date March 18, 1879, marked to the dials and paper label to the interior of case.
