FOUR ANTIQUE SEVRES CABINET PLATES. Two late 19th C. Sevres plates, with fine hand painted scenic detail, a turquoise and blue border with jeweled decoration, 9.25” dia., with two late 19th C. portrait plates, of Madame Leczinka and Comtesse of Provence, with bright yellow border 9.5” dia. .

With nine matching bread & butter plates, approx. 6'' in diameter. Accompanied by six Charles Ahrenfeldt France bread & butter plates, having a gilt cobalt blue rim and center medallion, approx. 6.25'' in diameter. All with backstamps.
CONDITION: Plates show wear at center medallion.

Ormolu mounted Sèvres plates: hand painted cupids in clouds with floral garlands, one cupid playing with ball, other with cupid painting, purple, pink and gilt borders, backs with Sèvres mark and "France", one signed "Luce(?)", now mounted as double ormolu sconces, probably late 19th century, 15-1/2 in. Surface wear, minor gilt losses, one with minor paint retouch.

Poitenir(?)", cobalt and gilt borders with floral reserves, red printed mark for Chateau de Tuileries, pale blue circular mark, green printed mark for 1845-1848, if of the period, center of back with ground surface, 9-1/4 in.; one with hand painted castle scene, cobalt and gilt border, back marked "Chateau de Mendon", 18th century style Sevres mark in blue under glaze with "K", 1763 if of the period, 9-3/4 in.
