(DE CREEFT) GOULET (NY, 1925 - ) "Garden", carved serpentine stone, signed on left edge and dated 1976, depicting a reclining voluptuous woman lying against a roughly chiseled reticulated field, includes the original black stone block base having a paper label on the underside giving the title, the sculpture is not attached, rests on a single bronze pin, the sculpture itself is 8" x 14, the block base is 2" tall. The only damage is a repaired crack at the back of the mounting hole.
