An apparent autograph of GretaAn apparent autograph of Greta Garbo (1905-1990) on a pale blue card, reading "for your Grandson / Greta Garbo / Wien 22/11 1932" and bearing a small photograph of Garbo affixed at the upper right. Together with another card of the same stock with the name Mano Swartz and an address in Vienna, and an envelope mailed to Swartz in Vienna of a size to enclose the cards. The envelope has a Norwegian postmark from the town of Bekkelagshogda dated November 6, 1933. It is unclear whether this Mano Swartz is, or is related to, the fur retailer of that name or the company he founded in 1889.

GERDA IRO GERDAGO VIENNESE DANCERGERDA IRO GERDAGO VIENNESE DANCER SCULPTURE Austria,1906-2004Depicts a woman frozen an a dynamic pose dressed in an elaborate costume comprised of navy blue and lavender enamel over gilded bronze. Gerdago studied in Berlin and Paris before working as an assistant to the architect Oskar Strnad. During this time, Gerdago began to design statuettes of figures in dramatic poses often dressed in futuristic costumes and eccentric headgear. The Viennese foundry Artur Rubinstein had also produced some of her designs and created Gerdago signed objects.
