GOLDSCHEIDER CERAMIC ART DECO FIGURAL CANDELABRA Austrian Goldscheider Art Deco paint decorated ceramic figure, possibly designed by Josef Lorenzl (Vienna 1892-1950), the sculpture modeled as a nude dancer posed within a ring accented with three candle holders, based marked "Made in Austria" and "Goldscheider Wein" and further marked and incised with numerals. 15.75? H x 13.5? W x 5.5? D. Note: Josef Lorenzl was an Austrian sculptor and ceramicist of the Art Deco period and was a contemporary of Ferdinand Preiss and Demetre Chiparus during the pinnacle of Art Deco Design.
