This edition was published in the Hague by Henri Scheurleer in 1737, with maps executed by the royal cartographer Jean-Baptiste Bourguignon D'Anville (1697-1782), under the reign of Louis XV. Originally containing 42 engraved maps including 3 folding & 10 double page, there now remains a total of 40 maps, including 2 folding & 7 double page.
