East TN Washstand & Basin Set Sevier Co., Tennessee walnut Sheraton washstand and porcelain. 1st item - Sevier Co. walnut washstand with shaped backsplash and unusual scalloped skirt, lower tier with a dovetailed drawer, resting on turned legs. Poplar secondary wood. Stand measures 34 3/4" H x 22" W x 22 1/2" D. Circa 1830. 2nd grouping - Flow blue five piece wash set, including a large pitcher and matching bowl, smaller pitcher, small covered dish, and small vase, all marked "May / W.H. Grindley, England" and a flow blue round covered dish marked "Kenworth, Johnson Bros. England". Six porcelain pieces total. Large pitcher measures 12" H. Basin measures 17" dia. Antique Grindley of England Water PitcherProduced in the early 1900's by Grindley China of England is a very nice water pitcher with matte green and yellow colors and blue floral design. It is marked on bottom W. H. Grindley & Co. England but no pattern name or number therefore the pattern is unknown at this time. It is in very good to excellent collectible condition. Measures 7 1/2'' tall with scalloped edge and holds at least 32 ounces.
