1938 GERMAN ZEPPELIN MAIL EXHIBITION POSTER Poster promoting a Zeppelin Mail Exhibition in Konstanz, Germany on July 8-12, 1938, in the historic council building on Lake Constance (Bodensee), commemorating the 100th birthday of Count Ferdinand Zeppelin. Event patron was Zeppelin's daughter, the Countess of Brandenstein-Zeppelin; organizer was the Konstanz Stamp Collectors Club. The event included a post office offering special zeppelin cards. Marked "Cherer" upper right; printed by L. Geissendorfer Sohne, Karlsruhe. Poster is mounted on linen. 33 1/4" x 23", OS: 35 1/2" x 25 1/4". Water stain to outer left edge of linen mounting.
