This document is boldly signed by George Washington as president and Thomas Jefferson as Secretary of State. Signed 4 language cut ship document of July 9th,1793, and countersigned by the collector of customs H. Baylies (Hodijah Baylies - signed by him 3 times) for the schooner named Rebecca to ship commander Samuel Swasey. Sealed and matted in a double sided archival glass with black wood frame.

CHARLES DICKENS HANDWRITTEN CHRISTMAS LETTER Charles Dickens has penned a personal letter to Rebecca, his cousin, Mrs. Ball Wilson, (their mothers were sisters) addressed to Devonshire Terrace. Devonshire Terrace is the name of a house near Regents Park where Charles Dickens lived with his family between 1839-1851. 4 pages, with writing, in his hand, on three of the four pages. Content includes advising a friend to have patience of which he describes his feeling about the matter. Lastly, is a note as to his wife Kate's and the children's health, wishing a merry Christmas and happy new year. Closing lines and signature cut away.
