This sword features a signed Kanenao Saku an approx. 26 .50" signed blade with a lovely hamon (pattern of harden edge), copper habaki, copper seppa, copper fuchi, bronze? tsuba, same (ray skin) wrap, bamboo mekugi, triple chrysanthemum menuki (decorative grip), damaged brown ito (hilt wrap), bronze? kashira (pommel), painted metal saya (scabbard), bronze? chrysanthemum hanger, and a bronze? koiguchi (throat). From a Hastings On Hudson NY estate. Dimensions: blade measures approx. 26 1/2" in length. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Sword exhibits wear consistent with age. Missing kojiri (endmount). Damaged brown ito (hilt wrap). Blade exhibits chips. Saya (scabbard) exhibits a few dings.

From a Larchmont, NY estate. Dimensions: sword and scabbard measure approx. 39 1/2" in length. Blade measures approx. 26 1/4" in length. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Sword exhibits wear consistent with age. All sword is preserved with what appears to be Cosmoline and or oil.
