Three clocks: the first by Sessions Clock Co., Forestville, CT, ca. 1923, "Tambour, no. 1609," mantel clock in solid oak case, eight day time and strike movement, porcelain dial with original hands; the second by E.N.Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, CT, ca. 1900, late pressed wood parlor or "kitchen" clock by this firm (just before taken over by Sessions), one of six models offered as "Assortment no. 2," eight day time and strike movement, movement may have been replaced, case appears complete and dial and hands are proper; along with a small Sessions travel clock.

Antique Sessions Mantel ClockFrom an estate is a very nice antique c.1910 Session key wind mechanical Mantel Clock. Complete and original the clock case is black with brass adornments and feet. Has the original Sessions lead pendulum weight and possibly the original key . Has pieces of the original tag on back panel however, the exact model is unknown. The clock is currently working and chimes on both the hour and half hour. William Sessions started The Sessions Clock Company Jan. 9, 1903 and produced 52 models of mechanical - key wind clocks through 1933. One of the top clock companies in operation in 1930 and by 1933 he had expanded to and produced mostly electric clocks.
