A CASUALTY BRITISH WAR MEDAL TO 2. LIEUT H CLIDERO YORKSHIRE REGIMENT Condition GVF Herbert Clidero was born in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, in 1897. He was educated at Northallerton Grammar School. Herbert was commissioned as Temporary Second Lieutenant on the 30th of January 1918. While attached to the 8th West Yorks when he was killed in action on the 1st of September 1918. He is buried in Vaulx Hill Cemetery.
