C. 1910 JUNGHANS MAHOGANY WESTMINSTER MANTEL CLOCKFeatured in this lot is a Vintage Junghans Mahogany Westminster Chime Mantel Clock, circa 1910s-1920s. Following the registration as early as 1877 of the first factory trademark, "eagle with flag", the Junghans trademark, a clock cogwheel fashioned into a eight-pointed star, became the brand symbol in 1890. Junghans was one of the first Black Forest clockmakers to adopt American production methods, first making American-style clocks and later adopting more of a German style. By 1900, Junghans was the world's largest clockmaker. The movement of this Junghans mantel clock appears to be intact. Rounded mahogany case, silvered face with secondary chime/silent and slow/fast dials, marked Junghans Wurttemberg immediately under the numeral six. This mantel clock is in good preserved condition, case exhibits scuffing. Movement keys not included. Measures 13.75"H x 11.5"W x x 7.5"D

TWO BRONZE WALTHAM CLOCKSTwo oval shaped bronze Waltham clocks. Includes one mantel clock with a dual griffin base and a gold-tone face as well as a wall clock with a shield and lions motif and a silver-tone face. The mantel clock measures 7 1/4" W x 2 1/2" D x 10 1/4" H. There is loss to the patina of both clocks as well as flaking. The face of wall clock is scratched particularly on the lower and right hand portion. There is mild discoloration on the face of the mantel clock and the crystal is not fully secured. The working condition of the clocks is unknown.

19TH C. SWISS SLATE MANTEL CLOCK, BRASS / MARBLE INLAYWestern Europe, France / Switzerland, ca. late 19th century CE. A beautiful slate mantel piece clock with a pendulum swing, inlaid with a brass dial face in Roman numerals under a flat glass face that opens on a hinge. The black slate is highly polished and is beautifully carved and put together to resemble a classical temple. Red and white stone discs ae inlaid into the front face and etched with simple cornucopia and foliate motifs. Antique mantel clocks such as this use mechanical movements, and the verso opens to reveal the mechanisms. This clock was functioning until recently and likely just needs to be professionally serviced, and include the 2 keys. Please note that the thick stone construction adds substantially to the weight of this piece, a sturdy clock that is perfect, stately decor! Condition:
Needs to be serviced, but has worked up until recently. Pendulum is loose inside and needs to be set back into place. Winding keys included. Nicks and chips to stone edges and base, but overall great condition with a few abrasions to lower front side. Underside of base has a label from the last service the clock received.

This mantel clock features a figurine of a seated man in period clothing holding a globe near small bookcase. Brown and gilt dial in a fancy case with metal pendant on the right and a finial on top. Clock is key wind pendulum. "Ansonia Clock Co./ Patented June 14, 81/ New York U.S.A./ Patented June 18, 1882" is inscribed on the back of the movement. Both are situated on a black enameled metal base with figural cartouche decoration. Overall measures approx. 14-1/2"H x 17"W x 6-1/2"D.
