SEVEN ITALIAN GLASS DECORATIVE BIRDS. Second half 20th century. Duck, 9"h., long tailed bird with flaking overpaint, 14"h. and three roosters. Together with a pair of cockatoos with paper label for Murano. One has chipped crest. 12", 11.75"h.

CARTIER PAIR OF QUARTZ AND DIAMOND COCKATOOS. A beautifully carved pair of Cartier yellowish-grey quartz parrots with rose cut diamond eyes and gold feet perched on a carved stand with blue guilloche and white enamel decoration. Further mounted on a carved fluorite base. Bolt/screw to underside of base, no. 1063? - with some scratches. Most probably made by Varangoz for Cartier Paris circa 1905. Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm. Unmarked. For similar figures of birds by Cartier carved around the same period and on perches of similar design please see Cartier, 1900-1939, Judy Rudoe, p. 113. From a French-American collection. Dimensions: 2" w x 2" d x 3.5" h. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Perch is missing the terminals. Separation to underside of perch and the fluorite base. Losses to enamel work. Glue residue to underside of each foot.

Very minor wear. A few minor firing cracks to the bases and a few tiny losses to the edges. One bird with a faint firing crack under the tail. FRENCH ART DECO GLASS & NEOCLASSICAL STYLE CLOCKS Group of two French tabletop clocks, early 20th century, comprising, a La Societe Anonyme Edmond Etling (French 1908-1994), partial frosted colorless glass Art Deco clock decorated with cockatoos set in a champleve stand with a Tommy Ticker Pocket Watch movement; together with a bronze mounted shagreen clock in the Neoclassical taste with rooster finial, resting on marble base, the Etling clock marked 'Made in Franc' to the dial, the Neoclassical with numeric marks to the mechanism. Approximate dimensions: Etling h. 7", w. 6.5", d. 3".

COCKATOO CANE LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY LENGTH 37.5".COCKATOO CANE, Late 19th/Early 20th Century, Ivory knob handle carved as four cockatoos amidst foliage, circling a central column. Parrots with bead eyes and posed in differing positions, including one bent over and two nuzzling. Contrasting disk, probably ebony, inlaid at top of column. Throat and ferrule possibly whalebone. Dark and heavy wood shaft. Dimensions: Length 37.5".
