Comprised of 6 crowns (3 with lighting), hutch cabinet with glass doors, drop-front door bar with one square glass shelf, 3 pull-out drawers, 6 cabinets (2 with chrome grill fronts), and 7 stand-alone glass shelves. Paint loss to top of one cabinet. Separation to front edge molding to cabinets. Separated pieces and hardware are included. One screw missing from right hinge of bar cabinet door. Laminate bottom of bar cabinet interior is peeling up and separating. Slight tarnishing to chrome grill fronts.

McWilliams; by descent in the family. . Other Notes: Jane Avril (1868-1943), a can-can dancer in Paris, was a close friend of the Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. He depicted her many times throughout their friendship, both in her role as a dancer and as a private individual, and each work demonstrates the respect and intimacy the two shared. They are thought to have met at the Moulin Rouge in Paris - she danced there beginning in 1889, while Lautrec was a frequent visitor to the establishment and had been commissioned to create a series of posters for the venue. Avril commissioned Lautrec to create this poster for her 1894 cabaret show at the Jardin de Paris, a major café on the Champs Elysees. The present lot is a particularly notable example of this rare poster, as it is dedicated and signed in pencil in the lower right corner.
