Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 800 to 1100 CE. A wearable ring fashioned from a strip of leaded-bronze that has been wrapped around a mandril to create its circular form. The rod-form terminals are incised with a segmented pattern, perhaps to increase the grip on the wearer's finger.
