Serial # 2011221529 The entire outfit is in the original shipping box to include: a Browning glass and wood 100th anniversary display case, an MOC U.S. holster for the 1911-22, lock, paperwork, a soft case for the pistol and a Ka-Bar fighting knife with wood grips and blued finish (with sheath). The gun itself was produced in 2011 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the design of the Colt Model 1911. It is basically a scaled down version of the original and chambered for the .22 LR cartridge. Standard features include a 4" barrel, blued finish, diamond checkered walnut grips, semi-automatic and wind-drift rear sight. Comes with one magazine. The left side of the slide has gold filled markings with "John M. Browning Master Inventor". Also in gold fill on right side of slide "J.M.B. Model 1911-22 1911 - 2011 Celebrating John Browning's Timeless Design". The entire package is as new.

Contained in the box is a Colt firearms transfer sheet from the service department listing a warranty repair for this pistol and a hand written sheet with instructions on removing the main spring housing. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Probably a factory restored finish. Appears unfired retaining virtually all of the strong blue to the metal. Grips show moderate wear with nicks and scratches. *PRE-WAR COLT ACE SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. SN 6710. Blue finish commercial Ace with 4-3/4" bbl, fixed front sight & adjustable rear sight. It has full checkered walnut grips & an orig 2-tone magazine with correct marked base. There were fewer than 11,000 of these fine pistols ever produced prior to WWII. Spring guide has been altered with addition of several leather washers, apparently to add spring tension after the spring had been cut. Accompanied by a Colt Factory letter fully identifying this pistol as having been shipped Sept. 25, 1936 to "Comm. of Massachusetts/ C.O. 1/10 Cav./ Boston, Massachusetts" in a shipment of one pistol. Also accompanied by its orig dark maroon hinged lid box that contains the owner's pamphlet, a shooting suggestions pamphlet, a yellow hang tag with instructions for adjusting sight & orig target. CONDITION: Very fine. Overall retains 95-96% strong bright orig blue with slight muzzle edge wear & some thinning to front strap. Mechanics are fine, grips are crisp, bright shiny bore. Government model sized pistol with 5" bbl having the floating chamber with fixed front sight and Stevens adjustable rear sight. It has full-checkered, brown, plastic grips with large escutcheons and an all blue orig Service Model Ace magazine. It has inspector's initials "JSB" on the left side behind the trigger. Seldom-encountered predecessor to the Colt Woodsman and High Standard Model B, this little pistol has a 6-13/16" pencil bbl with fixed sights and checkered hard rubber grips. It is accompanied two orig magazines and an early well made flap holster. CONDITION: About fine. Retains most of an amateur reblue, but was not polished beforehand. Corners are still sharp. Retains a mottled blue/brown patina. Fine grips, good mechanics and bright shiny bore. Magazines are fine showing moderate wear. Gold & nickel finish with 6-5/8” tapered pencil bbl, adjustable front & rear sights with smooth, mother-of-pearl grips and an all nickel orig magazine with brass follower. Bbl & frame are nickel finish & slide is gold washed. Left side of slide, below standard markings, is engraved “YACHT UNITED STATES”. The yacht was considered the “largest, finest and costliest” yacht by Rudder magazine in 1917. Owned by Col. Edward Howland Robinson Green, son of Hetty Green – reputedly the richest woman in the world (Witch of WallStreet). This 256’ yacht contained a private collection of 6 rifles and 4 guns, 9 of which were acquired by the late EldonOwens of New Hampshire who gifted them through his estate to the National Firearms Museum and are now displayed in the Brevetto Gallery which recreates the American Library of Theodore Roosevelt at Saganaw Hill. This is the lost pistol to complete the grouping. Grouping consisted of a pair of .30-.30 Winchester Model 1894 takedown rifles, a .30 Govt. Winchester 1895 takedown rifle, 3 Winchester Model 1890 .22 rifles and the 4 Colt semi-automatic pistols (of which this is the fourth). CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Great Western Arms Co. . 22 LR Single Action Army: Available in this lot is a Great Western Arms Company "single action army" replica, chambered in . 22 Long Rifle. In 1940, Colt discontinued the Single Action Army, after 67 years of uninterrupted production. William R. Wilson saw an opening in the market, and with help of the Los Angeles Rams executive Dan Reeves, and team physician Dan Fortmann, Wilson received funding to produce an almost-exact clone of the SAA, mainly for television, and movie productions. Great Western revolvers were offered in the three same barrel lengths as the original Colt: 4 3/4", 5 1/2", and 7 1/2", this example features the 5 1/2" variant. The company went out of business in 1964, and made 22, 000 revolvers, and 3, 500 Deringers in their 10 year run. Renowned characters who received one of these revolvers include, John Wayne, Audie Murphy, Don Knotts, California Governor Goodwin J. Knight, and Dwight Eisenhower. In addition to a blue'd finish, the revolver features hand carved walrus tusk grips, crafted by a Native Alaskan Inuit. The revolver shows roll stamping in multiple spots, reading: " Great Western Arms Co. " on the top of the barrel, "22 Caliber" on the left side of the barrel, and serial number "GW - 5083" on the bottom of the frame - in front of the trigger assembly, and on the back of the cylinder. Overall, the revolver shows good aesthetic and mechanical condition, showing 65%+ blue'd finish, and a tight action. It has factory engraved flourishes of foliate arabesque patterns covering about 25% of the frame, slide and bbl. There are additional small flourishes mirror imaged on the rear of the slide and frame, spring housing, front strap, trigger guard and behind the rear sight. It is accompanied by its original dark maroon hinged lid box with blue and white end label an two black & white over labels, one marked "TARGET" and the other "ENGRAVED". It contains an original red covered owner’s manual and a special instruction pamphlet. It is also accompanied by a Colt Factory letter identifying this pistol as factory engraved and having been shipped January 13, 1928 to A. Baldwin Co., New Orleans, LA in a shipment of one gun. It has full-checkered wood grips and an original all blue pre-war magazine. It has checkered trigger and a checkered arched spring housing. Retains 95-96% glossy bright original factory blue on the sides, and virtually all of its frosted finish on the edges of the frame and top of the slide. *PRE-WAR ENGRAVED COLT ACE SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. SN 7708. Blued finish with 4-3/4" commercial bbl without floating chamber. It has thick front sight and adjustable rear sight and is fitted with smooth ivory grips and is accompanied by an orig magazine. It is engraved in factory style with about Class-D coverage consisting of very nicely executed foliate arabesque patterns with a very fine punch dot background. The coverage is very extensive leaving very little undecorated space. Accompanied by Colt Factory letter identifying this pistol as having been shipped blue to Wead & Co., Buffalo, NY April 22, 1937. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains 96-97% bright custom finish with slight muzzle end wear and dulling on the front strap. Grips are fine with several age lines and some oil spotting. *COLT HUNTSMAN SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. SN 91574-C. Blue finish with 6" bbl, fixed sights, black Colt composition grips. The sideplate screw under the left grip has been changed to a screw with a too large head, which causes the left grip to gap at the top. Accompanied by its original hinged lid chocolate brown box with yellow and black end label and contains its original wax paper, a bristle bore brush, instruction pamphlet, a warranty card and the original bill of sale dated December 14, 1955 which lists its price as $43.95. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Overall retains 85-90% original factory blue with heavy muzzle wear and light edge wear with a rub on the front strap. Grips are nicked and scratched and there are fine pinpoints of rust on the slide and frame. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. Box is crisp. 4-53041 JR664 (300-500)

*Colt Ace Semi-Auto Pistol First Year Production .22 LR cal. 5'' barrel S/N 1922. Blue finish walnut checkered grips; 1931 date of mfg. Condition: Excellent condition with an excellent bore. It retains ca 80% original blue finish with most loss on the front grip strap and some muzzle wear. The grips and original two-tone magazine are excellent. This is a clean first year production pistol.
