Cast with a pixiu as the finial set on a tripod vessel decorated with auspicious symbols in copper, silver and gilt, flanked by a pair of baku-form handles, the three slender legs each with a coiling dragon, all resting on a tiered hexagonal platform, the underside signed Dai Nihon Ohashi San'emon seizo, late 19th century, Meiji period, 14.125" high.
