(from spout to handle); a fluted spoon tray, circa 1755, the central well slip cast with a Chinoiserie scene of a figure beside a pagoda, the fluted twelve panel sides each with a flower relief, w: 5 1/4 in.; a toy size plain teabowl and saucer, circa 1730-1750, the saucer dish with a wide band of plants and flowers, teabowl, dia: 2 1/8 in. and saucer dish, dia: 2 3/4 in.; a silver-shaped cream jug, circa 1720-1722, probably Shelton Farms, Hanley, of pear-shape with a deeply fluted lower section; and a toy sized mug, h: 1 3/4 in. A CHINESE EXPORT ROSE MEDALLION PORCELAIN PLAQUE IN A Z...A CHINESE EXPORT ROSE MEDALLION PORCELAIN PLAQUE IN A ZITAN FRAME, ATTRIBUTED TO THE GUANGXU PERIOD, 1875-1908, the parcel-gilt enameled porcelain plaque centering a court scene with a Ming style Emperor composing poetry at his desk is fanned by two servant girls, at his back a twelve panel screen, a peach tent for concubines and daughters, another room for a matronly woman instructing a young girl with a young man, and a seated woman with a fan receives guests in her garden, while bureaucrats and high ranking officials move around the busy court, a border of insects, birds, coral branches, flowers, and hidden ruyi scepters surrounds the scene, the pierced scrolling fretwork frame carved with bats and bamboo stalks. 9 1/2" x 14 3/4"
Condition:
Frame probably later, early-mid 20th century; the plaque with some minor rubbing and losses, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
