Reed and Barton sterling silver five piece tea set with a silver plated tray. Circa 1945. Sterling Reed & Barton pieces include a 9.25'' tall lidded teapot a 7.75'' tall lidded teapot a 6.25'' tall lidded sugar bowl a 5'' tall creamer and a 4.25'' tall waste bowl. Tray is silver plated monogrammed has a pattern similar to the chased sterling pattern and measures 26.4'' handle to handle. All sterling tea set pieces are stamped on base with Parachute 1945 date mark Reed & Barton maker's mark and ''Sterling 87C1 Hand Chased''. Chased floral and foliate swag design with an unmarked initial reservoir. Condition: minor tarnishing tray has some scratches to surface see images. Total silver weight (without tray): 2743 grams or 88.19 troy oz. Shipping weight 6.4 lbs.
