Note: The coverlet is elaborately worked with scrolling vines and swags interspersed with fish, stags, butterflies, dragons, grotesques, crusading knights, putti, flowers and birds, with a wide border worked with mermen and putti, with grotesques and flaming torches. Each corner is worked with a regal portrait.
Condition
Minor wear, loose stitching, losses and staining. Nicely executed.
