Some similar examples to the cinnabar-ground famille rose porcelain 'dragon and phoenix' snuff bottle, which appears to be from the same mould but with a different colour scheme, are all dated to the Jiaqing period, including one from the Mary and George Bloch Collection, sold at Bonham's Hong Kong, 27 May 2012, lot 98.
