Patinated metal base, Chicago style 24 panel octagonal shade, with blue and polychrome slag glass side panels and blown out caramel panels at the top. Shade with metal overlay with gothic designs and birds. Cap on shade signed Emig, lamp base signed Melard on the underside. 23 1/2"H, shade 19 3/8"-diameter. Minor losses to patina on base, one socket loose, some blown out panels at top loose, one section of overlay repaired, cracks and losses to overlay on shade throughout, losses to patina on finial, chips and roughness to corners and edges of panels on interior of shade, clip missing from interior, shade sits crooked on base.

An Antique Slag Glass Lamp and ShadeAn Antique Slag Glass Lamp and Shade With a bronze-tone cast metal base, approx. 23-1/2"H, and with two sockets at the top. It has a rounded octagonal cast metal and slag glass lampshade with an Art Nouveau motif to the pierced patterns, approx. 8"drop x 19"W. No maker's marks were found.
