Base has turned legs and three dovetailed drawers with applied beading and replaced brasses. Drop down writing surface. Top has three drawers, molded cornice and two blind doors. Interior shelves.   New England Sheraton secretary bookcase, circa 1820, in three parts, with carved gilt eagle finial above two mullioned glass doors, above a center prospect door, with cubby holes and document drawers, a fold down writing surface above a long drawer over two doors flanked by bottle drawers and reeded turned legs. 87"h x 40"w x 22"d Condition: Eagle finial old but may not be original, brasses loose, stains, crack to drawer bottom, missing prospect door lock, missing mullions, new screws on hinge, wear consistent with age.
