A hand-woven textile inspired by traditional Navajo wearing blankets, signed to one corner. Christina Bergh (now Tina Woolley) is a contemporary New Mexican master weaver who runs Brown Cow Saddle Blankets Company. She apprenticed with Alice Parrott, and she has studied with artists including Pearl Sunrise, Kay Sekimachi, Gerhardt Knodel, and Michelle Lester.

PAIR OF JOE PARROTT OIL ON BOARD CITY SCENES OF KNOXVIL...Pair of Joe Parrott (American/Tennessee, 1944) oil on board cityscapes depicting downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. One depicts a street scene with street level and multi-level buildings flanking each side and one lone red stoplight in the foreground, signed and dated PARROTT 80 lower right. The other depicts an alley scene with a fragment of blue sky and background city view to the right, signed and dated PARROTT 81 lower right. Both are rendered in heavy vertical and horizontal brush strokes. The street scene is housed in an ebonized and silver wood frame and measures: Sight - 17 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed - 20" H x 26" W. The alley scene is housed in a carved wood frame and linen matte and measures: 15 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Framed - 22 1/2" H x 26 1/2" W.
Condition:
Both paintings overall very good condition. Ebonized with very slight wear. Wood frame with abrasion to right front side and minor scattered abrasions.

Signed lower left PARROTT. Housed in a contemporary molded gilt wood frame. Sight: 23 1/2" H x 29 1/2" W. Framed: 28 3/4" H x 34" W.
