In 1882, Osgood?s company published Twain's work ?The Prince and the Pauper? and ?The Stolen White Elephant.? That same year, Osgood accompanied Twain on a riverboat trip collecting material for ?Life on the Mississippi? which was published by Osgood in 1883. This personal letter has much content starting with some discussion about proofs and their submission with "Mrs C" having read them as well. Then a more dire read about the Family being sick.
