A yellow carbon copy from 'Lily Dache Beauty Salon' on East 56th Street in NYC; handwritten by a sales clerk on "5/25/62," receipt reads in full "Miss Marilyn Monroe / 5/18/62 5/19/62 / Kenneth / Services at home / Fri & Saturday $150;" 'Kenneth' being the famous hairdresser to the stars who evidently took two days to style MM's hair for the night she sang 'Happy Birthday' to JFK [on May 19, 1962]. Also included is a white register slip noting the bill was paid on "6-13-62" with "Ck #1689."

A beige carbon copy from 'Frank's Nurseries and Flowers' on Wilshire Boulevard in West Los Angeles; a sales clerk's handwritten notations read in part "8-1-62 / Miss Marilyn Monroe / 12305 5th Helena Dr of(f) Carmelina" and continues on with items ordered including "tubrose, Orange king bagganvilla, hanging Begonia, Mexican lime" and "Valincia orange" [sic] among a few other misspelled flowers totaling "$93.08;" additional note on bottom reads "ask for Mr. Jeffrey;" 'Jeffrey' being Norman Jefferies [Eunice Murray's son-in-law and MM's handyman] who was at Monroe's house on the last day of her life, probably watering these plants she would never enjoy as she died just four days after this receipt was issued.

And yes, these are different receipts for Dom than have been offered here before -- Marilyn really did buy a ton of this stuff!
