CONDITION: 1) Several flecks of paint loss in the tail; 2) Possible chip to the tail and paint loss to the mouth, could be from the distressed nature of the decoys; 7) Tail does show some paint loss; 8) Small paint fleck on the head and one of the claws is missing paint.

TAINO, FINELY CARVED LIZARD-LIKE STONE VOMITspatula. Vomit sticks were usually made from manatee ribs or of wood. This rare example is made of metabasalt. There is a central band of symbols resembling an abstract face. Vomit spatulas were used for purging prior to taking cohoba. 7.3" long.
