A GROUP OF TWO LATE QING/EARLY CHINESE REPUBLIC MANDARI...A GROUP OF TWO LATE QING/EARLY CHINESE REPUBLIC MANDARIN PALETTE ORANGE GROUND PLATE AND A GINGER JAR, ONE WITH HONGXIAN MARK, 1915-1916, comprising a deep dished plate with gilt rim and double happiness flower blooms applied over an orange ground with fan form reserves painted with flowers of the four seasons centering an enameled medallion of an immortal holding lotus blooms carrying a child rides a cloven dotted qilin with dragon face, he is shaded by a billowing umbrella held by an attendant, verso a four-character dark red overglaze Hongxian mark, diameter: 9 3/8"; paired with a flat lid jar painted with a serpentine reserve of a field hands working in landscape encircled by auspicious Buddhist symbols over a tapered jar painted with gilt flower blooms falling around pointed serpentine reserves, one painted with a male ancestor upholding a boy child who chooses a scepter from a vase in a garden landscape, opposed by a garden landscape with two ladies, one holds a lingzhi mushroom and the other reaches to pet a one horned purple fanged beast with a green mane in landscape while rainbow colored clouds swirl in the sky, base unmarked, height: 9 1/4", diameter: 7 1/2".

Marked sterling 3200; 3) Sterling Kirk & Son bookmark; 4) 2 repousse & glass Jacobi & Jenkins round vanity jars, 1.5'' diameter; 5) 2 sterling repousse and cut glass round vanity jars - no apparent marks. Both 2'' diameter; 6) 2 antique sterling repousse 3.375'' zipper pattern glass dresser jars.
CONDITION: 5) both have dings and dents around edge of lids; 6) Denting around the edge of both lids.
