Dean", produced for Ovington's, New York, and so backstamped, dia. 9-1/4" Dean was one of the Minton Pottery's most skilled porcelain painters.

Dean. Underside of base with puce printed factory mark. Height overall: 17 in (43.2 cm); Diameter of shade: 10-1/2 in (26.7 cm) Some very minor wear t gilt-decorated borders; otherwise in overall good condition.
