ASSORTED DOLLS, 18 ITEMS INC QING CHINESELot of assorted dolls including a Chinese Qing period opera doll or marionette with jointed arms and legs and embroidered clothes, Chinese mark on back of head (some cracks to composition hands and wrists, grime to face and fading/fraying to silk clothing); Chinese doll with composition head, lower arms and lower legs, embroidered silk robes (grime and few spots of light crazing to head, fading and fraying to silk clothes); Chinese doll with composition head and lower arms, ceramic lower legs, posable wire limbs (crazing to head, some small holes to clothes); 2 Peggy Nisbet character dolls: Henry VIII and Jane Seymour (excellent condition); African American doll with painted wood head (attached to body by string, loose), kerchief, and burlap sack of yams (head loose); African American doll made of cloth with button eyes and twine hat; walnut head doll with cloth limbs, hand sewn dress and hand drawn face; a Heubach-Koppelsdorf model 320-0 bisque doll head (no eyes); 2 small composition "Pilgrim" dollhouse style dolls, a small plastic doll in Renaissance style clothing (broken head), a small Japanese style doll marked Made in Japan (blue stain across head), 1 Little Red Riding Hood doll made of cornhusks, and 4 bisque headed dolls including a Scottish boy in kilt (head marked Germany 390 13/0, some losses to paint on head where wig was attached) and Little Red Riding Hood, both with composition limbs, a female doll with bisque limbs (missing 1 lower arm) and a Nun doll with cloth body and rosary. All dolls appear to be 2nd or 3rd quarter 20th century except the Qing opera doll (circa 1900) and the Peggy Nisbet dolls (last quarter 20th c.). Sizes 4" to 13". GROUP OF MINIATURE SW ACOMA POTTERY AND DOLLSGroup of miniature Southwestern Native American pottery and dolls. Pottery includes 4 small acomas - a 3 1/2" H black and white jar signed Mary Ann Hampton, a 2 1/2" H redware jar signed SWT Navajo; a 2 1/2" H three color jar signed B.R., and a 1 5/8" H jar signed H. Pino. There are also four small low bowls or dishes, 2" diam and smaller, signed Acomo D. Reano, and a 1" H oval container of bone with animal decoration signed PEM. Dolls include three 3" H papoose dolls sewn to a carrying board with handle, attributed to Peru (fraying to bottom of one doll); a 9 1/2" H Native American doll with beaded face and leather clothing (part of hair may be missing); an African American farmer doll with carved nut face and cotton hair, 10" H; and a doll with painted wood face, wood arms, and gingham dress, 7 1/2" L. Condition:
All pottery in good condition with some light wear. Indian doll has significant wear to leather arms and legs, part of hair missing. Female doll has some tears to clothing at arms and general wear. Farmer doll - stains to back from having been glued to something.

20TH C. TLINGIT WOOD FEMALE DOLL W/ HIDE, FURNative American, Pacific Northwest, Tlingit peoples, ca. 20th century CE. A charming doll, made from carved wood and richly ornamented. She has a painted face, a felt blanket decorated with dual ravens, a hide dress with fringe and beads, and ermine boots and headdress. The headdress also has a dual eagle motif on its front. Her arms and legs are partially articulated and she has soft leather hands. She is part of a doll-making tradition amongst the Tlingit and other Pacific Northwest groups that is centuries old. Size: 9" W x 18" H (22.9 cm x 45.7 cm); 18.05" H (45.8 cm) on included custom stand.

5 VINTAGE AMERICAN INDIAN SKOOKUM DOLLS: 1) Skookum Doll is approx. 9.5'' h., in ''played with'' condition, wood legs, straw body and head with painted face; 2) Skookum Man is approx. 13.75'' h., with wood legs, straw body and head with hand painted red face; 3) Skookum Man is approx. 13'' h., with wood legs, straw body and head with hand painted face; 4) Skookum female doll with twig legs, leather dress and pants, and beaded necklace. 10.5'' h; 5) Female Skookum with papoose, flour sack dress and suede shoes.
CONDITION: 1) Hair is thinning, face is marred; 2) Hair is disheveled, otherwise in very good condition; 3) Appears to be in very good condition. Right leg is approx .25'' shorter than the left; 4) Hair loss, some staining, played with condition; 5) Female and baby heads are wobbly. Overall normal wear.
