WORCESTER PORCELAIN TEAPOTEngland circa 1770, the globular shaped body with lobed panels decorated with cobalt sprays of flowerheads & foliage, the entwined organic inspired handle, spout and lid decorated with gilt accents, the lid with early staple conservation, the underside sowing blue underglaze oriental type mark, measuring 5.5" high x 7.75" wide from spout to handle. The decoration is very much in the manner of works by Worcester porcelain artist James Giles, working at Worcester 1771-1774.
