Two Chinese export lacquer boxes, both black with gilt decoration: rectangular tea caddy, panels of buildings in a landscape, interior with two pewter containers, 5-1/8 x 7-1/2 x 5-1/2 in., chips and losses along edges, tight cracks to lacquer, one side with 3/8 in. gouge, some areas with heavy loss and wear, lacking interior divider; games box, canted corners, winged paw feet, interior with seven lidded boxes, twelve trays, with four whist markers and two dice shakers, 5-1/2 x 14-1/2 x 12 in., 80 percent loss of exterior decoration, chips and losses to lacquer, feet, interior rim sleeve, interior boxes, trays with minor chips and losses to lacquer and gilt.
