CIVIL WAR NY VOLUNTEERS' JACKET & TROUSERS, 22ND INFANTRY REGIMENT From group of items used by officer in the 22nd Infantry Regiment, Federal shell jacket in dark blue wool with pale blue trim, swallowtail tailoring, having watch pocket, nine New York brass buttons on front by Scoville Mfg. Co. of Waterbury, CT, along with two at cuffs, one at each belt loop, two at collars and two at back, cotton padded lining, all hand stitched, dark brown inner peplum, 16" shoulders with epaulette loops, 32" waist, 20" sleeves, 27" length. Trousers in pale blue coarse wool with black metal buttons, 26" waist, 30" inseam, 40" length. Moth damage.
