Mid-twentieth century Japanese lithographed tin, fabric, plastic, and other materials, depicting a bear standing at a table on a platform, producing a change underneath his hat between an egg, butterfly, and apple, with light-up eyes and a bell that rings in his left hand between each movement. In near fine cosmetic condition, with original instructions tag, housed in the pictorial box with cardboard storage inserts. 12” tall.
Addendum: While well-preserved physically, the toy did not turn on in recent testing and is sold without guarantee of functionality.

TWO TIN LITHO GARAGE AND CAR TOYS The first is "Magic Garage", a postwar wind-up toy, made by Yonezawa Toys of Japan. Both the car and garage are lithographed tin. After the friction-powered car was wound with a key and placed in the garage, it would magically exit when a lever was pulled to open the garage door. The second is "Mystery Car" made in Western Germany and operates the same as the previous model. Both with original boxes.
