SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. .36. SN 9421. 7-1/8" octal bbl. The gun has been nickel plated. The standard markings on top of the frame are mostly intact. The top of the lever above the catch has been broken off and is missing. CONDITION: Retains most of the later nickel. The grips have been sanded and are very thin with chips overall. Mechanically good. 4-52192 FS352 (500-1,000)

SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER. SN 3459. 36 Cal. 7” oct bbl. Standard three line marking on top of the frame. Ten thousand of these were made during the Civil War but few of them have government acceptance marks. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina on the cylinder & gray patina with cleaning scratches on the frame and bbl. Both grips have been broken, repaired and refinished. Mechanically good. Wm. - RARE SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER WITH SHOULDER
RARE SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER WITH SHOULDER STOCK. Cal. 36. SN 12829. 7-1/8" oct. bbl. Equipped with an Alsop patent shoulder stock and a folding peep sight on the tang. There are no marks except "R.S LAWRENCE" on the rear sight. This is a Sharps carbine sight that has been bent and installed backwards to fit this revolver. The rear half of the triggerguard has been removed so the stock can be installed in a dovetail. This is pictured in Frank Sellers’ The William Locke Collection, p. 345. CONDITION: Fine. Bright blue only on the loading lever support. Some casehardening color is visible on the hammer. There are traces of blue scattered on the cylinder and sight. Mostly blue/brown patina with scattered light surface rust and pitting. Wood is fine with the grips retaining most of their varnish. 4-58007 (6,000-8,000)

SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER FOURTH MODEL. SN 13982. Cal. 36. 7-1/8" oct bbl. The cartouche at the bottom of the left grip is visible but not readable. Standard three line marking on the top of the frame. A large "W" has been carved on both grips. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina with scattered light surface rust and hints of blue. Grips show moderate wear. Mechanically fine. 4-54512 X136 (2,000-3,000)

SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. 36. SN 12589. 7" octagonal bbl. Standard three line marking on top of the frame. Many of these were used in the Civil War, but this one has no inspector marks. CONDITION: Faint traces of blue on the loading lever housing, otherwise gray/brown patina overall. Grips are battered at the base and worn at the high spots but retain about half of the original varnish. Front sight is a replacement. All of the nipples are chipped. Mechanically good. 4-52006 FS72 (800-1,500)
