Group of Four Continental Porcelain Cups and Saucers
Late 18th-Late 19th Century
The first two, Meissen, the first with two gilt-decorated relief bust portraits centering a Royal crest on a cobalt blue ground; the second, molded all over with turquoise and gilt highlighted leaves on a white ground; each with underglaze blue crossed swords mark; the third, Furstenberg, polychrome decorated with floral border centering the inscription Mit/ Blumen bestreut/ sey Deine Bahn, with underglaze blue F mark and numbered 45; the fourth, decorated with white flowers on a gilt ground, with unidentified underglaze blue mark. Each with complementary saucer except the fourth with gilt and floral saucer, possibly Paris. Together with a Vienna-type saucer, centering a bust portrait en grisaille on a gilt ground, with underglaze blue beehive mark. The first with broken handle and lacking one foot; the third with crack to cup and repair to rim; each with some wear to gilt decoration.

Lot of hand painted porcelain tea cups and saucers. 1) Pretty set decorated with floral blossoms and buds, gilt edging around rims. Both marked with blue crossed swords of the Meissen Company. Cup measures apprx 1-7/8"H and saucer apprx 5-1/4" D. 2) Set of two mismatched but complementary items. The small cup is decorated with tulip blossoms and forget-me-nots and the round saucer has additional springtime flowers. Cup trimmed in rust and bears blue Missen crossed swords and star, saucer has what appears to be a blue S. Cup measures apprx 1-7/8"H and saucer, apprx 5"D. 2) Another set of mismatched but complementary pieces. Round tea cup features full blossoms around body; saucer also florally decorated. Teacup has crossed blue swords of Meissen, and saucer has "beehive" mark of Royal Vienna. Cup measures apprx 1-7/8"H and saucer apprx, 5-1/4"D.
