Co./Cabotville on left and US/WD on right; hilt with single-piece brass guard/knuckle bow with brass pommel having 1/4 backstrap wood grip. Steel scabbard with throat double carrying rings and drag. Condition: Leather and brass wire is missing on the handle.? Overall good.

MODEL 1841 AMES NAVY PISTOLThis is an extremely nice Ames box lock pistol, with the desirable date of 1843 on both lock and barrel. The metal is clean, with very strong marks, including N.P. Ames, Springfield Mass., and USN 1843 on the lockplate, and USN 1843 over JCB and P on the barrel. The stock is also clean, with a small oval cartouche on the sideplate area. Dimensions: 12 ½ inches long overall, with the barrel being 6 inches long. Processing and shipping with the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Condition:
Overall very good and better, with exceptionally clear marks on the metal. There is a small dent and scratches on the barrel band, and a dent on the wood of the butt. The steel is nicely toned, and there is a tiny bit of pitting behind the bolster. US NAVAL MODEL 1860 CUTLASSAn Ames Model 1860 U. S. Naval boarding cutlass, with embossed leather grip and shaped brass hilt guard. Stamped very faintly "Made by AMES MFG. CO. CHICOPEE MASS" and "862" just above the hilt. Riveted handle guard stamped "38" to the exterior "5M 824" to the interior. No scabbard present.
Measures 33 inches long overall with a 26 inch blade.
Condition
Overall good condition, noting some pitting to the blade, and typical wear to the leather grip.
