S/n 3937. Age cracks to ivory minor corrosion.

  LEFAUCHEUX PINFIRE RIFLE Early pinfire 12mm revolving rifle with 24'' octagonal barrel and varnished wood stock. Cylinder is six-shot and has a small stamp with the letters'' E L G'' in a circle over a star. Bullet extraction is facilitated with a built in side ejector rod. Also has a hooded front and peep hole rear sight and built in sling mountings. S/n 2850. Most of original finish is worn off the metal parts. Bore has some dirt but no major rusting.

Partiel lettering on left side of barrel ELEAFUCH.. over IN--BREVE... Retains old patina cylinder is loose but rotates with trigger pull.

The serial number 32222 is within the range of numbers of the revolvers imported to the USA during the Civil War (25,000-3 7,000). Wear commensurate with age. Ejector rod is slightly bent.   CIVIL WAR-PERIOD LEFAUCHEAUX PINFIRE RIFLE. Belgium mid 19th century 12mm (about .44 caliber) 21 1/2'' round barrel six-shot cylinder walnut stock. S/n 1796. Both the Union and Confederate governments imported Lefaucheaux pinfire revolvers in significant numbers. This rifle appears to have been modified in the period from a revolver. For a discussion of the imported pinfire revolvers see Adler ''Lefaucheaux Pinfire Revolvers in the War Between the States'' in American Rifleman July 2011. Brown patina on the barrel and frame older finish on the stock. Barrel engraved along top but mostly worn off.

• ORNATE LEFECHAUX PINFIRE
  ORNATE LEFECHAUX PINFIRE REVOLVER, 7MM A wonderfully ornate Lefechaux manufactured six-shot, pinfire revolver from about the mid-19th Century. The frame and cylinder feature floral engraving throughout as well as some crosshatch patterns on the rear grip strap. The barrel is octagonal to round with a simple bead front sight and the rear sight milled into the hammer. There are some small cracks in the frame, one just to the right of the trigger and another break in the rear strap just to the right of the hammer. Mechanically the sear will not engage when trying to manually cock the hammer, double action works to bring back the hammer but will not reset if the hammer is allowed to fall.

Damascus engraved four barrel cluster with barrels matching the rotating wheel, liege proof marked between the bolsters. Frame and backstrap with foliate engraved patterns, ebony grips and a ring trigger. Retains the fitted half of the case and the bullet mold for the pistol. Mid 19th century. Condition: Missing screw holding ebony grips in place, ring pull trigger with an old repair, screw missing underside behind trigger guard, older metal surface with light oxidation spots in areas.

  French Flintlock Pistol .60 caliber bore dia 6.5'' cannon style barrel lockplate marked Dauphine Bergerac in two lines ca 1770. Iron furniture triggerguard with acorn finial with raised carving around furniture. Walnut stock. Condition: All metal is grey with some staining and pitting. Flintlock hammer is broken. And can be restore. The broken part is there. Walnut stock has darkened with some nicks and dings. Nice sharp pistol overall.
