HUMMEL 834 SLOVAK LITTLE FIDDLER TMK0International Hummel Slovak Little Fiddler 834. Extremely rare. Only other piece in US is at Rosemont Museum. No M I Hummel signature. No trade mark. As for Hum No. 8 is obscured, 3 and 4 are legible. Factory records indicate that they made a Slovak Little Fiddler. It may have been modeled by Arthur Moeller or Reinhold Unger, not sure. Hummel measures 5 1/2" tall, Hum 834, TMK-0. Hummel does have old repairs to feather, right ankle and neckline. Hairline to feather near hat. Crazing to base, some paint loss to face. No box.
Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence.
