ARCHIVE OF MOVIE STILLS AND GLAMOUR PHOTOS.Archive of Movie Stills and Glamour Photos. American, 1930s - 1960s. A 44-volume collection plus an additional unsorted carton, approximately 1,500 photographs (8 x 10") in sum. This photographic archive documents Hollywood film stars, generally of the 1940s - 50s, with an emphasis on actresses. Many are advance press photographs with descriptive labels attached to verso. A substantial portion of the collection is comprised of studio glamour photographs, the balance being stills for a large variety of films. GREER GARSON 1976 AWARDS DRESS BY BILL BLASS: Greer Garson wore this dress by Bill Blass to the 1976 American Film Institute Lifetime Achievements Awards Honoring William Wyler, accompanied by her husband Buddy Fogelson. This longer style red dress has a front slit and black bow, bell sleeves and similar collar. Approx size 10. Measures approx 56.5'' l from the neck to the hemline, sleeves are approx 29'' long from neck to cuff edge and 18'' across the back. See attached article.
CONDITION: Hooks and eye closures at neck may need replacement. Dress could benefit from dry cleaning. Otherwise in very good condition.
