Also included is a Delft shoe ashtray from Holland, has some glue residue. A 7.5'' resin wizard figurine, label on back calls him a christmas wizard 1993 June Mckenna #1474 out of 7500. A Margaret Furlong ornament still in its original box measuring 3''. All in very good condition. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! BRONZE AGE AMLASH POTTERY VESSEL W/ GLASS INLAYAncient Central Asia, southern Azerbaijan and northern Iran, Meshkinshar region, Amlash, late Bronze Age, ca. 2000 BCE. An interesting wheel thrown pottery vessel in laid with aquamarine shards of glass evenly spaced around the broad rim. The surface is etched and impressed with curvilinear motifs and linear markings. The long neck and flared funnel spout could function as a lid for an incense burner or cooking vessel. Size: 8.125" Diameter x 6.5" H (20.6 cm x 16.5 cm)

A magnificent terracotta royal wine jug of an impressively large scale, boasting an elegant silhouette and incised decoration of undulating, crisscross, and linear motifs along the shoulder and near the base. Enveloped in a rich hue of russet, the ancient jar displays a reverse piriform body and a rolled rim. During the 11th century, Amol was chosen as the capital of Persia and thus a bustling center for commerce and home of royals. A vessel like this may have been used for the storage and transport of lavish wines, which were likely consumed in excess during the flourishing pre-Safavid period. Central Asia, Persia, Gilan, Marlik / Cheragh-Ali Tepe, ca. 4th to 6th century CE. A beautiful and rare terracotta pitcher of magnificent size, intricately adorned with ribbon-like scrolls of clay around the neck and spout, as well as applied and incised decoration. The broad hip of the vessel dramatically narrows to a tubular neck, pinched spout, and arched handle, all sitting upon a discoid foot. Marlik is one of the most famous archaeological sites from this region, a mound or tepe containing a variety of fine objects, some of the nicest from this region and time period - this vessel is in the style of those found at that site. Size: 13.8" Diameter x 18.3" H (35.1 cm x 46.5 cm)

Ancient Central Asia, southern Azerbaijan and northern Iran, Ardabil region, ca. mid-3rd to 2nd millennium BCE. A sizable, wheel-thrown pottery vessel with a planar base, an apple-shaped body, and an abstract avian-form spout projecting from one side of the shoulder and rim. The smooth surfaces exhibit a rare, light beige hue that stands in contrast to the more-common black presentation. Size: 12" W x 11.75" H (30.5 cm x 29.8 cm)
