This is a bust from a well known model by Picault. It is part of a series of figures he sought to represent from the Middle Ages, this capturing a young Scholar. With frontal plaque that reads "Escholier 14 siecle 1350" and with second plaque on its right side that reads: "A. Monsieur Serrassaint. Le conseil des prud hommes 1924". CIRCA: Early 20th Century. Picault".
