Delft Blue and White Pottery Pyriform Tobacco Jar, fourth quarter 18th century, by The Three Bells (De Drie Glocken) factory (active 1671-ca. 1819), the facade with a floral garlanded cartouche reading "Varinas", fitted with a turned brass cover, overall h. 11-1/4", dia. 7". A similar pair of Delft tobacco jars is in the collection of the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, Ohio.

Estimate ?150-200 There are losses to the glaze of the base - substantial mount to one handle small patch to the other around the top rim and on the high shoulder around foot rim there are substantial cracks to the body and across the foot with some glaze losses around this and there are some chips around the foot the cover has losses to the glaze to the button finial and around the edge and a substantial loss 8cm wide x maximum 1.5cm to the rim. At neck is a smaller fan-shaped landscape Heights 25'' diameters 11''. Marked underfoot. 19th century. Both vases have repairs to the rims and one has a hairline crack to the underside.
