A lovely still life presenting a large bouquet of flowers - white daisies, red poppies, purple lavender, blue chamomile, and more - in a single-handled pitcher that is adorned by a leafy pink flower on a white ground with a dark blue-green flared neck and handle. The arrangement sits on a surface that is lavishly painted in golden yellows, cornflower blues, and whites. All is delineated in a lush impressionist manner with thick impasto technique for the flower petals. Set in a silver-hued wood frame that does not detract from the composition.
