CONNIE ROBERTS 'BOWLING FOR BIGOTS' SCULPTURE Constance 'Connie' Alyce Westvig Roberts (American b. 1949), 'Bowling For Bigots', 2000, carved and painted wood, eleven piece Folk Art sculpture comprising ten figural bowling pins, a bowling bowl, and watermelon form case, the lid and bowling pins are all functional whistles, titled, dated, and signed to the lid of the case with each bowling pin signed to the underside. Note: Ms. Roberts is a Folk Artist based in Iowa and is known as a whistle maker. Her works are in the collections of Carol Burnett and the late Robin Williams.
