Genealogical research has identified a Joses Green that served in Company C of the 108th New York Infantry. Gray-brown patina with some light corrosion. Included is a file of photocopies of documents related to Joses Green's war record mostly of his application for disability status.

Together with a Bacon/Hopkins and Allen pocket model .31 caliber five-shot cylinder 4'' round barrel walnut grips s/n 120 marked ''US.'' Navy with 30% blue cleaned grips action is frozen; Bacon pocket with stiff/unreliable action mottled patina cracked grips; Bacon/H&A pocket missing wedge screw gray patina with scattered oxidation. The Navy revolver is a conversion.

This correct description for the revolver is ''W.W. Marston Pocket Model Revolver'' 7th type round barrel. 50% blue on the cylinder a mottled gray-brown patina scattered oxidation light pitting at the bore cleaned patina on the grips.
