REMINGTON MODEL 1875 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERA nice Model 1875 Remington single action in .44 caliber, serial number 424, so one of the very first group of these made! The gun has the original walnut grips, which are in excellent condition. The gun appears to have been nickel plated, although most of the nickel is gone. The action is beautiful: Very tight and crisp. The barrel is the original full length. Dimensions: The barrel is 7.5 inches long, and the gun is 13 ½ inches long overall. Condition:
The action is superb. The exterior of the gun has been cleaned, and there are light brush marks in places. There are several patches of heavier pitting on the barrel web, on the cylinder, near the muzzle, and on the hammer.
