Serial no. 54750, 12 gauge. 30 Damascus barrels with solid matte rib. Casehardened action. Checkered walnut fore-end and semi-pistolgrip stock. Makers buttplate. Together with leather-piped canvas carrying case inscribed in pen Capt. W.H. Paine/7th Cav. Also included, listing of Oregon Spanish America War Veterans listing Col. Wm. H. Paine, ret., as formerly Captain in Troop E, 7th Cavalry.
Condition: Very good. Barrels showing much partially faded Damascus pattern. Bores lightly pitted throughout. Action with generous traces of casehardening. Fine wood with few light marks.
