A Fabulous Minton Snake Handle Jardiniere This Majolica Victorian jardiniere in the Regency style is a beautiful robin's egg blue with two green snakes on either side, with their tails intertwined to form handles. At the base is a green snakeskin boarder and the the rim is a lovely band in a floral design in green, pink and brown. The interior of the jardiniere is a light pink. It is apprx 8-1/2" x 8" at the base x 15" at the top. Verso stamped Minton. | ||

| 784. Italian Majolica Istoriato Style Lidded Urn Flattened bulbous form with flared base and faux figural, lid features a large ring decoration. The urn is decorated in a majolica istoriato style, with glaze palette including such colors as ochre, olive brown, bright cobalt blue among many others. Very nice luster finish. Bottom is marked with a maker's mark. With the stopper this urn measures approx. 16"T x 10"W. | ||

Raised design features green glazed leaves and soft blue flowers against a lavender background. Bottom of pear-shaped plate is glazed a light mustard with brown flecks.
